• Patients or clinics could either send us approximately 5 ml serum, or patients can visit us for blood sampling (Monday to Friday: 7:30 to 18:00, Saturday 9:00-11:00). It is also possible, when necessary, that we do blood sampling at the patient’s place.

• To test for oligoclonal bands for multiple sclerosis we must receive > 0.5 ml cerebrospinal fluid and about 5 ml of blood serum. The serum and CSF should be taken on the same day, kept in a cool environment (preferably about 4°C), and sent to us as soon as possible.

• To test for Alzheimer we must firstly make arrangements with your doctor before collecting the cerebrospinal fluid.
